He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Melanson and Olive Collins Melanson; his wife Jeri Kelley Melanson; his daughter Kelli Anne Scoville (Peter Merritt Scoville); his siblings, Judy McCarthy (John), Gail Carmen and Steven Melanson; his grandchildren, Emily Caroline Scoville and Soren Collins Scoville; and his brother David Melanson. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
