She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. Smith and Velma Smith (Ehrlich). She is survived by: her husband Dan Winter; her daughters, Kerri Scherer (Brian) of Winston-Salem, NC and Erin Dettoni (David) of Munich, Germany; her grandchildren, Sophia, Ava Claire Scherer, Ryleigh and Grayson Dettoni; her brother Jeff Smith (Cindy) of Colorado Springs; and her siblings-in-law, Chuck Winter (Shelly) of Colorado Springs and Mary Douglas of Oscoda, MI. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to Pikes Peak Hospice, Community Bible Study or Hope and Home.
