It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Sowers (Colorado Springs, Colorado), who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Mary Louise farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Louise is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Malcolm Sowers and Gertrude Louise Minnick Sowers; and her siblings, Marjorie Sowers, Scott Sowers and Susan Wimmer.
She is survived by: her children, Robert E. Hunter and Susan Hunter-Smith; her son-in-law Stuart Smith; her granddaughters, Olivia Smith and Lauren Smith; and her brother Joseph Sowers.
