She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Correa and Guadalupe Flores; her son Fernando; and her siblings, Servando, Mercedes, Guadalupe, Eulalio, Maria Nora Rios and Juanita Correa.
She is survived by: her husband Francisco Maldonado; her children, Lori Maldonado-Becerra (Victor), Francisco Maldonado, Eddie Maldonado (Nancy), Rafael Maldonado (Jackie) and Joel Maldonado (Diana); and her grandchildren, Amanda, David Jr., Noel, Dalila, Francisco III, Ezmarie, Alberto, Julian, Eddie Jr., Genesis, Luis, Adrian, Gabriela, Matthew, Fernando Jr., Elijah, Rafael Jr., Ana Lucia, Santiago, Lily, Zyra, Yaretzi, Isabella and Fernando.
