Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Gordon Girod (Colorado Springs, Colorado), born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away at the age of 88, on February 27, 2023. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ferguson Girod; and his parents, Clinton Severin Girod, Jr. and Mildred Smith Girod. He is survived by: his daughters, Jane Ann (Jerry Rigney), Sharon Ann (Ronald Kicinski), Margaret Ann (Richard Rinker) and Himself; his grandsons, Nicholas Rinker and Galen Howe; his great grandchildren, Cambri, Morgan, Victoria, Violet and Josie; his daughter Worthy Grand Patron; and also, Bethel and Springs of Colorado. He is also survived by numerous grand dogs and grand cats.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
