He was predeceased by: his parents, Wynne Rutledge and Bill Rutledge; and his brother Will Rutledge. He is survived by: his wife Jan; and his son John.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (219 E Bijou St, Colorado Springs, CO 80903).
