He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sauls and Lucille Shaw Sauls; his siblings, Mildred Brown, Don and Arthur Morris; his brother-in-law Leon Brown; and his son-in-law Dr. Robert D. Grigsby.
He is survived by: his wife Delores; and his daughter Tanya Danette Grigsby. He is also survived by nieces, nephew, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (1830 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
It was later named in his honor, (Dr. James H. Sauls Scholarship Foundation Inc.).
