He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Aileen Nichols and Lester Lee Coonfield; and his brother Lester Lee Coonfield, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brown; his children, Sheryl (Cody Jack) of Grand Junction, Debra (Jay Adriansen) of Colorado Springs and J. Gregory of Reston, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Cody Jack II (Amanda), Rachel Jack, Ashley (Ryan Hamill) and Brooke Toller. He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shrine of Remembrance (1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910).
