She was predeceased by: her parents, Silverita Manchego and Cleofes of Jesus Atencio; her husband Fredrico "Fred" Sanchez; and her siblings, Rose Cordova, Martha Herrera, Cecilia Lucero (Sissy), Armando Atencio, Archie Atencio and Ben Atencio.
She is survived by: her son Fred Sanchez; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Sanchez; and her grandchildren, Rosane Sanchez, Amber Rosenthal (Matthew) and Stephen Sanchez.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (2715 E Pikes Peak Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80909). A rosary was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church (511 S Church Pl, San Luis, CO 81152).
