We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2024, at the age of 94, Genevieve Maxine Hastings of Colorado Springs, Colorado, born in Moorefield, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James T. Hastings; her parents, Cora Maret and Floyd Maret; her siblings, Kenneth, Tommy, Paul Maret, Annabelle "Annie" Linner, Bonnie Runyon, Lucille "Sissy" Brazda, Peggy Mueller and Doretha "Babe" Luthy; and her great grandchild Taylor Woods.
She is survived by: her children, James T. Hastings II (Jinda) and Sherry Hall; her grandchildren, Stacy Lala (Brandon), Jennifer Green, Jamey Hastings (Travis Duncan), Seth Hastings (Alea) and Samuel Hastings (Leah); and her sister Judith "Judy" Sonderup. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
