He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Calvin and Opal Lena Brewer (Ohleson); and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Brewer (Lorna), Larry "Bucky" Brewer (Jan) and Maxine Sober (Loren).

He is survived by: his wife Janet Joyce Palmour; his children, Marty Brewer, Terri Larson (Kirk), Kay Walk (Rex), Blake Brewer (Kassy) and Bryce Brewer (Sue); his grandchildren, Jenny Walk, Jill Hubbard (Jason), Jami George (Irvin), Kolin Walk, Jace Larson (Jordan), Kye Brewer (Olivia), Zach Brewer, Shea Walk, Tate Brewer, Quade Brewer and Quinn Brewer; his great grandchildren, Micah George, Houston Hubbard, Scottie Rose Hubbard and Remington George; and his sister Imogene Roddy (late Russell). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
