He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Carrico and Leta Carrico (Pickle); his siblings, Jimmie Carrico, Nelda Vickery and Billy Carrico; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Carrico.
He is survived by: his children, Kellie, Cary, Christine, Michael, Anthony, Cory and Aleksandra; and his grandchildren, Mac, Zander, Irish, Claire, Zoey, Lillian and Liam (Amy Kennedy).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in Fred's name to support ongoing research and support of those affected by Parkinson's Disease.
