Erna June Sullivan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Erna June Sullivan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Erna June is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Erna June's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erna Hanss and Julius Hanss; her husband Sully; her sister Lieselotte Kramer (Heinz) of Frankfurt, Germany.; and her grandchildren, Justin Layton and Elise Layton.
She is survived by: her former husband Master Sergeant William F. Layton; and her children, Georgia, France, Linda Guiette, Deborah Pniak (Robert) and William Layton (Sally). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Presbyterian Church (1529 N Circle Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80909).
