He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Georgene Hunter; his daughters, Kristie Lynette and Kimberly Tyler-James (William); his grandchildren, Tyler James, Maya Smith, Prentice Wilson and Josiah Martin; his brother Herman Tyler; his adoptive sons, Morris McDonald, Prentice Wilson Sr. and Dwight Howard; his siblings-in-law, Gloria Tyler, Sylvia Fletcher (Gilbert), Shirley Hunter, Ramona Bonet (Felix), Reggie Hunter, David Hunter and Dale Hunter; and also Rose Tyler (Raymond Tyler). He was also cherished by his Godchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
