He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Brown and Doris Brown. He is survived by: his wife Irene Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Neil Deden (Marilyn), Mary Eggerichs (Al) and Donna Roschen (Robert). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Darryl's family would ask for donations to be made in his memory to Custom Canines Service Dog Academy.
