As Calvin departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Calvin may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Calvin leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Lee and Patricia Ann Veretto (Tomlinson); his son Ryan Veretto; and his brother Dwayne Veretto. He is survived by: his daughter Kristen Jeannette of Colorado Springs, CO; his sisters, Nancy Graham (Larry) of Lubbock, TX and Vicky Anderson (Mark) of Kerrville, TX; his former wife Debra Stapleton (Brim Veretto); his friend Calvin; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Veretto (Richelle) of Anchorage, AK, Erin Baxter (Mitchell) of Lubbock, TX, Amy Shepherd (Thomas) of Plano, TX and Sawyer Veretto (Tany) of Leander, TX.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1005 S Hancock Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903).
