With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Mae Burgess (Colorado Springs, Colorado), born in Elbert, Colorado, who passed away on March 22, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Squires and Dorothy Squires; her husband Richard Burgess; her son Richard Wayne; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Mae Homer, Vonnie Squires and Lois Vandervoort.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharron Evans (Bill) and Patricia McFarland (Tim); her brother Russell Squires; her grandchildren, Will Evans (Katie), Jennifer Brown (James), Trevor McFarland (Natalie) and Brett McFarland (Kayla); and her great grandchildren, Corin, Lydia Brown, Thoran, Mazie McFarland, Hope, Liam Evans, Jake and Hudson McFarland. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
