It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Marie Scruggs (Colorado Springs, Colorado), who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Emmett and Hazel Marie Dutch (Hum); her husband Paul; and her siblings, Carl, Gordon Dutch and Jean St. Clair.
She is survived by: her children, Paul "Duane", Darrell Scruggs, Dennis Scruggs (Suzan), Dale Scruggs (Melissa) of Colorado Springs, Diane Palmer (Rich) of Woodland Park and Debbie "DJ" Scruggs of Albuquerque, NM.; and her grandchildren, Clint Scruggs, Angie Birdsong, Michal Schneider, Brianne Stecko, Cydney Pié, Sheri Lohmann, Darrell Scruggs, Jr., Garrett, Mitchell Palmer, Melinda Frugé, Dalton, Dillon Scruggs and Bradley Schiro.
