He was predeceased by: his father Francis Friedly; his sister Veronica Friedly; and his grandparents, Joseph, Violet Gebauer, Ernest and Velma Friedly.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Chacon; his mother Agnes Friedly; his daughter Alexis (Taylor); his former wives, Amanda Owen and Janine Burke; his stepdaughters, Roberta Chacon, Sierra Chacon and Angela Chacon; his grandchildren, Luis, Isaiah, Cianna, Lillyana, Ayla, Aiyana, Kortlynd, Zailyn and Emilio; and his siblings, Victor (Earleen), Vincent (Tina), Verlin (Sandy), Vernita Zubia (John) and Valintina Arroyo (Shawn). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
