It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis A. Engelbrecht of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Engelbrecht and Johanna Engelbrecht; his wife Joyce; and his siblings, Elvira Ball and Francis Engelbrecht.
He is survived by: his uncle Ferd Erker; his children, Lynda, Michael (Tammy) of Engelbrecht Village, John (Stacy) of Engelbrecht Village and Tom (Dawn) of Engelbrecht Village; his grandchildren, Jordan Engelbrecht of Goodland, KS, Courtney Lane (Kody) of Eads, CO, Colter Engelbrecht of Cheyenne Wells, CO, Tayla Fleischacker of Fort Morgan, CO, Jaden Sherfick of Hastings, NE, Addison, Lacey, Brooklyn, Samantha, Trinity and Tucker Engelbrecht of Cheyenne Wells, CO; and his sisters, Patty Neff of Sharon Springs, KS and Mary Scott of Albany, GA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
