It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra J Shank of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Harwig and Esther Harwig (Malhberg); her in-laws, Joseph and Rose; her sisters, Marilyn and Geraldine; and her brothers-in-law, Ron Bergkessel, Roger Miller and Robert Shank.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Shank; her siblings-in-law, Joseph Shank, Jr. (Lorraine) of Ovid, CO, Jane Robinson of Sterling, CO and Kathy Guilloz (Mark) of Portales, NM; her sisters, Barbara Silliman (Charles) of Denver, CO, Mary Jane Miller of Lakewood, CO and Karolyn Bertling (Steve) of Denton, MD; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Eastern Plains Animal Welfare Alliance (EPAWA) of Burlington in care of the Eastern Colorado Bank.
