He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph and Zelma; his siblings, John and Pauline Sothers; and his brother-in-law Fred Horne.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his sons, Deron (Jennifer) of Littleton, CO and Derek (Karin) of Greenville, SC; his grandchildren, Michele Wilson (Ryan), Nick, Elin and Anna; his sister Clara Horne of Corvallis, OR; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Sothers of Courtland, KS and Pat of Paonia, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Wayne Johnson's name to The Navy SEAL Danny Dietz Foundation.
