He is survived by: his wife Kathy Thompson; his children, Katie Johnson (Greg) and John Thompson (Tasha); his grandchildren, Megan, Abby, Robbie, Gavin and Logan; his sisters, Pat Farley (Arnold) and Bonnie Varvel (Scott); and his brother-in-law John Koeneke (Melinda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
