He is survived by: his parents, Rogelio Montelongo Ramirez and Maria Mayela Najera of Durango, Mexico; his wife Eva E. Cano of Center, CO; his children, Leylany Montelongo of Center, CO and Zayhir Montelongo of Center, CO; his parents-in-law, Luis and Juanita Cano of Center, CO; his siblings, Celia Vanessa Montelongo of Durango, MX, Luz Yadria Montelongo of Durango, MX and Victor Montelongo of Durango, Mexico; and his siblings-in-law, Erica Cano, Miriam Cano and Luis Cano. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
