He is survived by: his wife Patsy Martinez; his children, Leon Martinez, Jacob Martinez, Sandra Medina (David) and Stacey Martinez (Mary); his sisters, Esther Maes (Dave) and Inez Montoya; his grandchildren, Leon Jr., Shaneen, Shaniqua, Sabrina, Isaiah, Julian Medina, Justyce Martinez Jacqueline and Danielle; his great grandchildren, Rico, Laveah, Analicia, Lovencio, Dezlyn, Zeriah, Isabella, Serena, Alianna, Valois, Zoe, Zaliyah, Shlyze, Vance, Solomon, Veyda and Danny; his grandchildren, Andrew Medina, Rico, Jalen Martinez and Alexsis Medina; and his nephew Bernie Martinez.
A rosary will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (781 Warden St, Center, CO 81125). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the San Luis Valley Cemetery (3762 US-160, Monte Vista, CO 81144).
