He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Serrano and Paula Serrano (Zendejas); his siblings, Louis Serrano, Leocadia S. Navarro and Natividad Serrano; his great grandchildren, Devon Rodriguez and Orion Miller; and his brother-in-law Pablo Cortez.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen Rita Ortega; his children, Anna Marie Miller (Mark), Raymond Scott Serrano, Vincent Martin Serrano, Magdalen Carmen Gilpin (Wayne) and Christina Paula Serrano; his grandchildren, Christopher Miller (Brittany) and Leanna Miller; his great grandchildren, Nathaniel Miller and Skylar Miller; and his siblings, Philip Carlos "Junior" Serrano (Emily), Peter Alfonso Serrano (Bridget) and Margaret S. Cortez (Pablo). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews; and other family members.
