She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sylvester and Thelma Marzette Sylvester (Bastrop); her sister Velma Denise LaCour; and her niece Lorri Rice. She is survived by: her husband Leon Willis; her siblings, Dorris L. Brown and John Sylvester Jr.; her sister-in-law Jackie Sylvester; her sons, Winston Alan Grady-Willis, Malcolm Gregory Willis and Noel Eric Willis; her daughters-in-law, Lisa Grady-Willis and Marla Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Bakari, Emi and Ajani Grady-Willis; her nieces and nephews, Luther Turner, Keith Rice, Marcus Rice, John Sylvester III, Kimberly Sylvester, Jennifer Sylvester-Bullock, Calvin Parker Jr. and Crystal LaCour; her cousins, Norman (Paula), Sheila, Bernetta Sylvester and Terry Casin; her extended family, Candice Rice, Desmond Rice, Keith Rice Jr. and Theresa Davis; and her friends, Rosie Johnson, Antoinette Saunders, Yvonne Curry and Helen Morrison.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fairmount (430 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80247). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
