He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Nitta and May Nitta. He was also cherished by seven brothers, one sister, five nephews, one niece, and three great nephews and one great niece.

“I am so saddened about the loss of Stuart at such a "young" age. I worked with Stuart and became associated with him when we visited about the battle record of the 100th Infantry Battalion and 442nd Regimental Combat Team (RCT) that his dad (Bill) was in the Cannon Company of the 442nd RCT.
