He is survived by: his wife Lisa Taylor-Nelson; his children, James Nelson and Sandra Gwaltney (Daniel); his grandchildren, Brett Von Eye, Kaitlyn Von Eye, Luke Nelson, MacKenzie Nelson, Aliyah Lucero and Mateo Lucero; and his sisters, Lana Williams, Judith Besta (Ashmore) and Joanne Richardson (Stan).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Highlands Baptist Church (1510 E Phillips Ave, Centennial, CO 80122).
