He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; his parents, Johnson Barton and Anna Barton (Johnson); his grandparents, Emmanual Barton, Lillie Barton (Reed), John Johnson and Cora Johnson (Menses); his siblings, MaryEllen Curtis (Barton), Ronald Curtis and Joyce Barton; and his niece Ruscel Veenstra.

He is survived by: his daughter Angel; his grandchildren, Kayleigh (Mike), Karah Henley (Aaron), Harlynn, Ashley Zayne (William), Jayce, Londyn and Khrystal (Michael); his children, Allen (Heather) and Kacie; his granddaughter Miracle; his son Chad; his grandchildren, Aiden and Bella; and also Linda. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
