He was predeceased by: his son Jason Michael Sopko; his parents, Beverly Fern Sopko and Harry Michael Sopko; and his grandson Thomasino Brady Stepp. He is survived by: his children, Gabriel Sopko, Giorgio Sopko, Felicity Albano, Jayce Canale and Veronica Cobian; the mother of his children Dr. Leila Sopko; his son Mac Stepp Jr.; his grandchildren, Alexis, Emily, Calliope, Mila, Julian and Logan; his sister Sandie Schertzl; and his nieces, Valerie Pike and Amanda Pike Livingston.
