He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Michael Moothart; his brother Dr. Richard Moothart of Colorado Springs; his wife Naomi; his daughter Linda; his brother Denny; and his parents, Dilman Moothart and Bernice Moothart.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. James Methodist Church in Central City, CO.
