He is survived by: his wife Kate Carr; his children, Cynthia Carr (Mark) of Centennial Colorado and Christopher Carr (David) of Encino; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Rebecca, Ian and Leila.

David William Carr (Dave), 87, a retired Economist and Foreign Service Officer, died on December 29, 2023, at Peakview Assisted Living in Centennial, CO from Alzheimer's disease.
