She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald Joseph Downey and Ellen Mary Downey (Hannaway); her daughter Mary Ellen Devereux; her son-in-law David Devereux; and her brother Ronald Downey.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Dean; her daughters, Colleen Wells (Douglas) and Lynette Liburdi (Rick); her grandchildren, Sasha Wells, Rianna Devereux, McRae and Conall Liburdi; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Ariella and Hunter; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Skinner and Patrick Downey (Cathy).
