He was predeceased by: his parents, L. E. Hood and Hattie Hood (Rouse); and his son Jeffrey Kim Hood. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Hood; his daughters, Linda S. Dissette and Lisa K. McKenzie; and his siblings, Earl Hood (Buddy), Max Hood, Ricky Hood, Polly Gray, Annie Mae Brett, Alene Cahoon and Carolyn Oster. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
