He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Salyer and Lucille Salyer; and his sister Sue Salyer. He is survived by: his wife Linda Eckert of Delta; his brother Dan (Vicky); and his children, Dan Salyer (Kay) of Alaska, Jami Salyer of Colorado and Jodi Lay (Walter) of Arizona.
