She was predeceased by: her parents, Josie M. Bowers and Arthur Satred Gorrod; her husband Russ Melton; her son Dale Bohanan; and her siblings, Mary Kay, Mack Gorrod, Walter Gorrod, Lenore Porter, Leslie Gorrod, Virginia Marra, Ione Bowers, Dolly Gorrod and Fay Gorrod.
She is survived by: her partner Willibald Siegl; her children, Katherine Bohanan-Harsted of Phoenix and Gary Bohanan (Patti) of Fairbanks; her grandchildren, Sean Bohanan, Erin Schreck, Bryan Bravo, Brandon Bravo, Eileen DeAngelis, Celia Eddington and Daryl Bohanan; and her sister Belva Harris of Kansas. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
