He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Laurestine Hersey and John Malcolm Loring Sr.; and his sister Janet Coleman of Salem, Oregon.. He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Hale (Bill) of Longview, Texas, Jacqueline Whitman (David) of Niceville, Florida and Margaret Warner Spouse (Peggy). He is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
