It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Casner of Castle Rock, Colorado, born in Southington, Connecticut, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Casner and Pauline Casner (Bassola). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Casner (Wrona) of Rockville, CT.; his children, Amy Bojarczuk (Raphael) of Tomball, TX, Christopher James Casner of Baltimore, MD and Dr. Michael Casner (Patrick Tobin) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Shawn, Jessica, Sofia and Anastasia; his sisters, Pamela Casner of Narragansett, RI and Luanne Borawski (Paul) of Westbrook, CT; and his siblings-in-law, Teresa Brown (Robert) of Coventry, CT and Michael Wrona (Barbara) of Narragansett, RI. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services will be held privately on Monday, September 28.
In lieu of flowers and other gifts, Ron's family asks that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut so he may make a difference in the lives of ill children and their families as he had hoped to do during retirement.
