With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary A. Lenz of Castle Rock, Colorado, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on May 17, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Schlueter and Elsie Schlueter; her husband Cecil; and her sister Betty Smith. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Smith (Virgil) of Manhattan, Diane Kelley (Kord) of Ooltewah and Duane Lenz (Jane) of Castle Pines; her grandchildren, Jason Taylor (Deborah) of Russell Kansas, Julie Bliss (Brody) of Holtan Kansas, Skyler Lenz (Brianna) of Elizabeth Colorado, Logan Lenz of Fort Collins Colorado, Kayla Harris and Jessica Harris of Ooltewah, Tennessee; her brother Dennis Schlueter (Lucy) of Evans; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Ferguson of Deming. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to memorials be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church in Castle Rock or Volunteers of America.
