She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kanies and Margaret Kanies; and her brothers, Terry and Paul Kanies. She is survived by: her husband Rod Vernon; her children, Traci Slade (Todd) and Kevin Vernon; her grandchildren, Tia, Madilyn, Trent, Ruby, Trystan, Bodhi and Crosby; and her brother Jim.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Funeral Home (407 Jerry St, Castle Rock, CO 80104).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
