She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Larry Watkins; her children, Micah Watkins and His (Crystal); her grandson Cullen; her children, Kellyn Van Laere (Jacob) and Nathan Watkins; her friend Kathy; and her sister-in-law Nancy.

Her family asks that in lieu of flowers that all monetary donations be made in Kimberley's name to the scholarship fund for the Colorado American String Teacher Association.
