It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jay Daniel Garton of Castle Rock, Colorado, who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Garton and Cleo Garton; his sisters, Valda Reed, Mona Miller, Aileen Albertson and Lola Rogers (Frank); and his son-in-law Marc Amick.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bassett; his children, Pierce, Maureen Wharton, Rhonda Garton and Audra Garton-Norvell (Jim Norvell); and his sister Sharon Hager. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
