He is survived by: his children, Gretchen Everhart (Peter Frenchman), Susan Everhart, David Everig (Emily) (Everhart) and Emily Everhart; his siblings, Nancy Johnson, Bruce Everhart (Jann) and Paige Everhart; his granddaughters, Eva and Julia; and his stepgranddaughter Ashley.
