With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine Ann (Christy Wilson) Yaffa of Castle Rock, Colorado, born in Casper, Wyoming, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 53. As Christine Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Christine Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Christine Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Wilson of Cheyenne; and her brothers, Steven Wilson of Riverton and Kenneth Wilson of Palatka, Florida.. She is survived by: her husband Gerry Yaffa of Castle Rock, Colorado; her brother Patrick Wilson (Cindy) of Salem, Wisconsin; and her siblings-in-law, Marie Wilson of Riverton, Wyoming, Henry Yaffa, Eliot Yaffa and Caroline Yaffa of Lowell Massachusetts. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes (1900 E 19th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Cheyenne Memorial Gardens (4701 Christensen Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009).
