He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Cooney and Mary Cooney; his wife Maureen Brennan; his children, Sheila Spiecker (Dave), Angie Kirschbaum (Dave) and Dan Cooney (Tracy); his grandchildren, Caleb Cooney, Gannon Cooney (Taylor), Emma Kirschbaum and Joseph Kirschbaum; and his great grandchildren, Forrest and Willow Cooney.
