It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Alice Chezik (Castle Rock, Colorado), born in Havre, Montana, who passed away on July 23, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eddie Brekke and Carrie Jackson Brekke; her husband Lawrence John Chezik; her children, John Lawrence (Kwai Sim) and Jane Hadjimaleki (Behzad); her grandchildren, Sohayla Allen, Shaheen Hadjimaleki, Sara Chezik and Steven Chezik; her great grandchildren, Madeleine Allen and Gavin Allen; and her siblings, Arlowyn Gunning, Dwight Brekke and Lloyd Brekke. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
It was here that she contracted the coronavirus after isolating for nearly five months, probably brought in by an employee.
Beverly suffered from Alzheimer's, which mostly affected her short-term memory.
