He was predeceased by: his wife Estelle; his parents, Antonio Martin and Angela Martin; his brothers, Amelio and Aldo Martin; and his grandson Adam Reed.

He is survived by: his children, Barbara Jacobson (Lance) of Denver, CO, Amy Reed (Greg) of Salida, CO and Anthony Martin (Patsy) of Bedford, VA; his sister Mabel Lucas of Phillipsburg, NJ; his siblings-in-law, Eileen Lindell, Barbara Lebsock and Dale Douglass; his grandchildren, Amber Reed, Julie Reed Morales (Joe), Angela Martin (Peter Dybdahl) and Jacob Martin (Fiona MacLean); and his great grandchildren, Jocelyn, James Morales, Anna and Sam Dybdahl.

Most recently, he endured the extreme pandemic-imposed isolation at his retirement community with stoic resolve: "one day at a time.".
