It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Clede Nelson of Carbondale, Colorado, born in Denmark, Iowa, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mabel Nelson and Moody Nelson; his wife Barbara Nelson (Lucas); his children, Sydney, Exxon, Lauri of San Francisco, CA, Melisa (Ed) of Sacramento, CA and Brad (Lisa) of San Diego, CA; and his sister Bonnie Larsen of Harlan. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.
