It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tenisha Ortega of Capulin, Colorado, born in Alamosa, Colorado, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Lorenzo, Irene Martinez, Lionel, Lucille Ortega, Gregoria Vargas and Gildardo Fernandez; her cousin Chenoa Dye; and her brother Donavan Ortega.
She is survived by: her parents, Crystal Fernandez and Jesse Ortega (Tiffany); her boyfriend Zenaido; her daughter Yanelli Sandoval (Zenaido Sandoval); her stepfather Joel Carrillo; her siblings, Khiara Ponce (Cesar), Jazmine, Laila Ortega, Pierce Brown, Rosa Fernandez, Julio, Javan and Jayla Carrillo; and her grandparents, Lalo and Priscilla Fernandez. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and nephews.
